We met in 2022 in Oxford, MS. Sam would bring the labs he was training at work into where Meghan worked at the animal clinic. They had both seen each other and talked briefly but neither would make the first move. Thanks to the help of some coworkers, they handed Sam a phone number on a piece of paper and he texted Meghan that night to ask her on a date. The same night they watched Sam's friends play music at a local bar in Oxford for their first date. Admittedly, Meghan made one of her friends go with her that night, in case she needed a quick get-a-way! They could barely hear each other over the loud music and Meghan was leaving for a beach trip the next day but they both knew they were meant to see each other again. They spent the whole trip texting each other, excited about the next time they would get to hang out again. Over the next couple of weeks, they bonded over their love for dogs, spur of the moment trips, watching Ole Miss sports, and taking the labs to swim on the boat.

From trips to New Orleans, Nashville, Omaha (to watch our Rebs win the National Championship), Arkansas and the Delta (duck hunting quickly became a big part of Meghan's life), skiing in Breckenridge, beach vacations in North Carolina, and fishing in Louisiana together — we have shared many wonderful memories!

Meghan and Sam, and their five pups, have built a beautiful relationship together and now call Madison, MS home!

We are so grateful for all the family and friends that have been with us through the years and we cannot wait to celebrate with everyone on our wedding day!
